Walks Calendar

The walks calendar is a handy portal to access detailed walk notes (as soon as they are available), and a google map of the start location. Just go to the date and click on the walk name.

If you then click on ‘map’ you will get a google map with the precise location of the meeting point. You can use this to navigate as usual in google maps.

If you click on ‘more information’, it will bring up the link to the walk notes. Clicking on this will give you detailed walk notes, with a description of the walks available, difficulty, where to meet, what to bring, etc. Please read these notes beforehand so that you know which level of walk would be suitable for you.

Please note that detailed walk notes are not usually available until about 1 week before the walk, due to the walk leader needing to do a prior check walk. If notes are not in the calendar, try again in a couple of days.
